SPACEBEARD seeks a Rhythm/Lead guitarist to complete our lineup. Besides the obvious need for guitar skills we're looking for someone who can sing the occasional lead vocal as well as handling a good amount of backups/harmonies. Our band would be classified as a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band (with some Prog and a punk/Hardcore edge at times) so we're looking for someone who fits that kind of background musically. We've just completed a record and we're looking to release it by March 2012 to coincide with a record release party.
Influences range anywhere from KISS, Wilco, The Who, Fugazi, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Rush, Motorhead, Tom Petty, The Ramones, Bad Brains, Sick Of It All, Faith No More, etc etc etc.
21 Years old or over please! All we ask is that you're energetic and are into our music and we'll all get along just fine!
I can provide close to if not finished mixes of songs from the album which we'll be asking you to learn for your audition (2-4 Songs Max).
Please be serious enough to express interest and follow through with an audition. Please do not waste my time and yours.
